That is all we have time for on Tribe as Newcastle hit back to earn a point against Bournemouth. I have been Elliot Thompson and thank you for joining me. Stay with us on Tribe though as Liverpool kick-off against Brentford in 20 minutes time for Arne Slot's first game in charge at Anfield.
Next for these two sides is the start of their Carabao Cup journeys. Bournemouth face West Ham on Wednesday away from home and their next league game is away at Everton. Newcastle face Nottingham Forest also on Wednesday in the cup whilst next weekend they are up against Tottenham Hotspur.
Newcastle were poor in the first half as they simply couldn't cope with the press from Bournemouth as well as the fact that their build-up play was non-existent. In the second-half that continued until Eddie Howe made some changes. One of his substitutions Harvey Barnes made the equaliser with a fine cross from the left coming through to Gordon for a simple finish. They had a couple of big chances with header and Guimaraes also came close with a lovely strike towards the top left corner. Overall it was an even game but Howe may be annoyed that his side didn't manage a victory with some of those big chances. He will feel relieved though, that as well as the last-minute goal being overturned, Joelinton didn't see red. A red would have summed up his day as had a torrid performance.
THE POINTS ARE SHARED AFTER SOME LATE DRAMA! The Bournemouth crowd booed at the final whistle as they are so annoyed at the referee's handling of additional time. Tavernier scored the opening goal in the first half for them but they were pegged back in the second half. However, Ouattara scored from a corner with a few minutes to go. VAR though ruled the ball out stating that it was a handball but it looks like it hits his shoulder rather than his arm. So therefore the goal realistically should have stood. What made it worse was that David Coote didn't go over to the VAR screen to check. As well as that there seemed to be some violent conduct a few moments later from Joelinton as dragged Neto down by his neck. He was only shown a yellow card so the Bournemouth bench was livid. They will believe they have had their first win of the season stolen from them.

Bournemouth want a red card and their bench is fuming. The referee comes over to show one of Andoni Iraola's coaching staff a red card. This has been a very angry end to what has been a good performance from Bournemouth.

Neto catches a cross and runs with the ball as he wants to throw it out. Joelinton drags him down to the floor by his neck so he gets a yellow card.

BOURNEMOUTH HAVE A LATE WINNER BUT VAR BREAK THEIR HEARTS! Cook comes over to take the corner on the right side. His delivery is into the six-yard box. Ouattara jumps up highest and wins the ball as it flies into the bottom right corner. However, it does appear to come off his arm so VAR need to check. They have deemed it to be handball as the ball comes off the top of his arm. It does look like the top of his sleeve which is why Iraola is fuming on the bench. That looks like a questionable decision and the referee hasn't even gone to the screen before giving it so the home fans are incensed.
