Thank you for joining Tribe for this coverage. Stick around as the Everton v. Fulham game is only twenty minutes away. That's it for me, though. Until next time, this is Sanil Karan signing off.
The hosts came out strong in the second half, putting pressure on Bournemouth with Youri Tielemans’ goalbound effort blocked by Ryan Christie. The one-way traffic continued as Mark Travers made crucial saves to deny Pau Torres and Ollie Watkins in quick succession. With just 15 minutes remaining, Villa's persistence paid off when substitute Ross Barkley slotted home a knock-down from Leon Bailey, seemingly securing the win. However, Bournemouth fought back, equalizing in dramatic fashion during the sixth minute of stoppage time when Evanilson glanced Marcus Tavernier’s free-kick into the far right corner, denying Villa a late victory.
After securing their third consecutive UEFA Champions League victory midweek, Villa started confidently, with Amadou Onana's close-range header brilliantly saved by Mark Travers and John McGinn’s curled shot ruled out by VAR for an offside in the build-up. Bournemouth, grateful for the reprieve, nearly struck first as Justin Kluivert's long-range effort was smartly saved by Emiliano Martinez. As the first half progressed, both teams continued to create chances, with the best opportunity falling to Ezri Konsa, whose powerful shot was expertly tipped around the post by the impressive Travers.

EVANILSON STEALS THE POINT FOR BOURNEMOUTH! The free kick off the left is delivered by Tavernier and into the heart of the box. Evanilson rises above the defenders to connect with a magnificent header, directing the ball across Martinez and finding the bottom right corner of the net for a crucial equalizer late in the match. Villa Park is stunned into silence!
