That is all we have time for on Tribe as Aston Villa pick up a hard-fought three points. I have been Elliot Thompson, and thank you for joining me. Stay with us on Tribe as Manchester United face Nottingham Forest. Kick-off there is in 25 minutes!
Southampton will be annoyed that they haven't got even a point out of that 90 minutes as they were more than in it. They had some half chances in the first half, but one big one fell to Manning on the left side of the box. He dragged it wide, but the attacking intent was there. The Villa goal was Southampton's own making as they brought the pressure on themselves with a short goal-kick just a minute before. That led to a big chance for Duran, which Lumley saved. The crowd were up for it, though, after that, and just a minute later, Duran caught Harwood-Bellis hesitating on the ball. In the second half, they did struggle to threaten Villa's goal, with Martinez not having a save to make. That is the story of Southampton's season so far. They remain bottom of the table on five points, now eight points off safety due to Crystal Palace picking up a point.
ASTON VILLA HAVE BACK-TO-BACK LEAGUE WINS! Unai Emery walks down the sideline with a glum look, but he will deep down be pleased that his side has managed another win in the Premier League. They had to work very hard for it as it wasn't the best of displays, with both sides being very sloppy in possession. Their goal came from fantastic persistence from Duran, who won the ball off Harwood-Bellis and charged through on goal. Lumley came out to meet him, so before he entered the box, he finessed the ball beyond him and into the net. In the second half, towards the end, Southampton were throwing men forward, so there was so much space. Watkins had about four chances to get his name on the scoresheet and confirm the win but failed to take them. However, it didn't matter in the end, as Villa held on to move up to fifth place on 25 points. They are three points off second.

SAVE! Philogene charges into the box on the right side. He prods it forward, but Wood is there to intercept. It comes to Barkley, who lays it back to McGinn. He hits it on his left foot but straight at Lumley.

The ball is loose and there to be won. Rogers takes a touch first, but Wood dives in to make a clean tackle. They both collide knee on knee, so both go down in pain. The referee stopped play for treatment even though Southampton were on the ball.
