That wraps things up here on Tribe, thanks for joining us. We've got two more games from this midweek round of Premier League action on the way tomorrow, as Ipswich face Brighton and Man Utd host Southampton. See you then!
Arsenal return to 2nd with all three points here, as they now trail Liverpool by four points having played a game more. They are back in action at the Emirates on Saturday against Aston Villa. Spurs face a trip to Merseyside on Sunday, as they look to end their winless run in the league at Everton. Spurs now trail Arsenal by 19 points and are 11 points behind the top six.
Spurs remain 13th after going a fifth straight league game without a win. This defeat makes it one win in nine in the league and keeps the pressure on manager Ange Postecoglou. Losing both fixtures against Arsenal is never welcome, and this is only the fifth time Arsenal have done the double over them in the Premier League era. Spurs were better after the break and posed a few problems for Arsenal, with Dejan Kulusevski usually at the heart of most of their attacks. Defensively though they looked suspect down the flanks in particular, with Pedro Porro struggling tonight. Dominic Solanke had very little service and few touches leading the line, while Brennan Johnson had little impact off the bench.
Mikel Arteta needed a victory tonight after their troubles in the cups over the last week. The delight on his face was plain to see at full time after a massive three points for his side here. They have applied pressure in the title race and deserved to win this North London derby. Martin Odegaard was a key cog in midfield alongside Thomas Partey, but in the second half it was Gabriel who really stood out with the way he defended the Arsenal penalty area. Alongside William Saliba the Gunners central defence dealt with everything Spurs threw at them to see out the result in the final stages.
Arsenal complete the league double over Spurs! The Gunners came from behind to lead at half-time, and while they couldn't add to it in the second half it was enough. Spurs struggled to create too many clear-cut chances against a resolute defence, and in the end it was Arsenal's night. They move within four points of leaders Liverpool after their dropped points against Forest.
90+6'
Gabriel dives in to head clear a Pedro Porro cross into the Arsenal penalty area. Dejan Kulusevski can't find a way through from 20 yards out. That might be that.
90+4'
OFF THE POST! Dejan Kulusevski fires a long ball forward where Radu Dragusin nods a header on to James Maddison. He passes out to Pedro Porro down the right. Porro looks to catch David Raya out with a strike towards the near right corner. His effort catches the outside of the post. That was a tight angle. Goal kick Arsenal.
90+4'
Arsenal press aggressively as the stoppage time ticks on. Djed Spence has a ball down the left deflected into touch for a throw on halfway.
90+2'
WIDE! Pedro Porro hangs a cross up from the right side with his left foot. The cross is behind Dominic Solanke but he looks to fire an acrobatic overhead kick on goal at the far post. He gets it all wrong and sends the ball spinning well wide of the left post. Goal kick Arsenal.
