That's all we've got time for on Tribe, I'm afraid. Until next time, this is James Messenger saying goodbye!
Controversy at the death at the London Stadium as West Ham book their place in the next round of the Carabao Cup, thanks to Jarrod Bowen's 88th minute goal. In a game of few chances, Mohamed Kudus' shot struck the Hammers forward and found a way beyond Neto with time running out. And despite the ball appearing to strike the arm of Bowen, the goal was given and the referee was unable to consult with VAR. That's two games in a row that Bournemouth will feel hard done-by, having seen their stoppage-time winner on Sunday ruled out for handball. They were the better team for large parts but were made to pay for missing some chances early in the second half, the best of which fell to summer signing Evanilson. As it is, the Hammers will advance to the next round as they move one step closer to Wembley.
West Ham book their place in Round 3!
Frustrations boil over for Bournemouth, with their players surrounding the referee to ask how West Ham's winner was allowed to stand. Smith ends up saying a few choice words too many and is shown a yellow card.

On we go. Bournemouth have around 60 seconds to avoid an early Carabao Cup exit here in the capital.

To make things more dramatic, we've got a break in play due to a pitch invader. He's quickly dealt with, mind.

CLOSE! That would've sealed it! A ball over the top has Bowen interested, and he does well to muscle his way beyond Smith down the right-hand side of the box. The angle is firmly against the West Ham goalscorer, who tries his luck with his weaker right foot but fires well over.

As play continues, Andoni Iraola is giving the fourth official a real earful! Having seen replays of the goal, he's got every reason to be aggrieved. The ball certainly appeared to strike the arm of Bowen and ricochet into the back of the net, but there's no VAR to help them tonight.
