That is all we have time for on Tribe as Everton advance to the third round of the Carabao Cup. I have been Elliot Thompson and thank you for joining me. Tune in with us on Tribe tomorrow for more Carabao Cup coverage with more Premier League sides in action.
Next up for Everton is a home league game against Bournemouth on Saturday as they seek their first win in the Premier League before the first international break of the campaign. Doncaster Rovers also have an away game against Port Vale on Saturday.
Doncaster Rovers had a couple of chances in the first half with Senior forcing Pickford into a fantastic save when the score was level. However, other than that, they didn't create any clear openings. In the first half, they battled well but in the second 45 minutes, the quality difference was evident and expected as they are in League two after all. On another day they may have gone ahead to give Everton something to worry about but that was never the case as it was relatively simple for Dyche's side.
EVERTON HAVE THEIR FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON! After a rotten couple of opening weekends in the new Premier League season, Everton finally have their first goals and win of the campaign. It was a first half that lacked quality but then Everton turned on the style after the break with Iroegbunam almost claiming his first goal for the club with a low powerful strike into the bottom left corner. It eventually went down as McNeil's goal as it did seem to take a slight deflection on its way into the back of the net. Around 20 minutes later, Ndiaye got in on the act on his full debut. He scored with some individual quality - a neat turn into the area before firing in at the near post. With seven minutes to go, Beto finally got his goal after trying so hard all night. He poked home from close range after a pass from the left by Mykolenko. So, Sean Dyche will be pleased to take the pressure off him and his players after plenty of negativity over the last couple of weeks.

SHOT! Sbarra goes short with a free-kick on the right side finding Sterry for a better angled cross. Sterry floats one into the back post. McGrath jumps up meeting the ball but his header loops just over the bar. Pickford seemed to have it covered anyway.

McNeil again drops off into some space to receive the ball from Gueye. On the right side, he attempts to slip Beto into the box. His pass is a poor one though as he only finds McGrath who clears it away for Doncaster.

The last change of the game for Everton means that Iroegbunam's night is over after a strong performance. Youngster Harrison Armstrong is on for the last five minutes.
