That is all we have for you from Dhaka this evening. Thanks for tuning into this AFC World Cup qualifying match. Until next time, I'm Dan Gread saying good evening.
For Bangladesh, they can be proud of their performance this evening. They certainly kept things respectable and defended with heart inside their half as they were under attack throughout the match. Their final match of the group is against Lebanon next Wednesday and they will be looking to come away with something from that match to end their run on a high note.
Although they come away with the victory Graham Arnold will be frustrated with his side's performance at times as they had multiple opportunities up front but weren't able to finish in front of goal! Plenty to think about as they head back to Perth after wrapping up top spot in Group I to take on Palestine for the final match of the group in a few days time.
The Socceroos totally dominated the game in all aspects. They attacked at will down the edges of the park with Hrustic opening the scoring in the first half with a long range strike that took a mammoth deflection into the corner of the net. Australia then doubled the lead in the second half with a ripper of a header from Yengi off the back of a quality sideline delivery from Bos who was the best on show out there for the Socceroos this evening.
All over in Dhaka! A difficult night at times for Australia but they come away on top with a gritty 2-0 victory!
90+3'
Australia look to make it three in the final minute as they work it from the middle of the park. Arzani is back down the right edge! Driving a low ball into the middle of the box which is deflected away by Bangladesh. Back with Rowles and Souttar. Nisbet makes a play near the top of the box but it is turned away by Bangladesh once more. That will do us!
90+2'
Back with the Socceroos near halfway. They look up the left with Bos this time. Lovely little ball down the byline! Taggart punches the ball over the top looking for Nisbet making a run near the six yard box. Over the top of his lid as he goes down in contact. Nothing from the referee and Bangladesh play the throw in.
90+1'
Just the three minutes of added time. No way through for Taggart in the middle outside the box as Bangladesh hack it clear. Giving chase is Hossain but Strain goes back and mops up with the help of Gauci near the top of his box.
