Not a lot to write home about for Western Sydney this evening. They were completely out played for the majority of the match as the Wellington side dominated possession and position on the park. The red card to keeper Khamis will leave a soul taste in the mouth but they will have to pick themselves up quickly as they face a quick turn around against the Mariners back at Wanderers Football Park on Sunday. It is an equally quick turn around for the Phoenix as they head down to Adelaide for a clash on Sunday.

Another quality performance from the Phoenix this evening as they come away with full points at Wanderers Football Park. It was a frustrating first half where the Phoenix had all the possession but were lacking on the finishing but that changed dramatically in the second half as they found a way past Segavcic three times with Whinham opening the scoring moments after the halftime break. Kelly followed up soon after on the rebounding shot before Main put the icing on the cake late. Longo and Jale were excellent through the middle while the speed of Whinham put the Wanderers defenders on ice multiple times.

The Wanderers are again down the right. Into the box fires Harding! Looks to get around the byline but the ball is deflected out of play for a corner. Short corner taken quickly by the Wanderers on the box! Bobbles into the box and Jale hacks it clear at the six yard box! The long range shot is well wide from the Wanderers and that will do us!

Jale turns a ball over in midfield as the Wanderers attack on the counter again down the right! Kapetanellis finds Younis on the right edge. Delivers a beauty of a ball in towards Harding at the six yard box! Can't get the clean header away on the ball and it is away for a goal kick.

Three minutes of added time as the Wanderers try to get onto the counter up the right! Younis has some space and gets towards the byline! Hits a ball back across the face but Vilao is there to grab it with both hands at the near post!

The Nix are back down the right with Main and Jale! Turned out and sent towards Elliott at the back post! Headed away by the Wanderers as they have to defend again inside the box. Wellington are back through the defensive line on the right with Jale. She changes direction back to the left.

The Nix win the corner on the right edge! Elliott delivers towards the back post! Segavcic gets up to bat it clear and gets a shove in the process and wins the free kick for her side. Wellington are back down the right as they slip a ball through for Jale! Fergusson crosses towards the target but Segavcic is there at the near post.
