A tough result for the Phoenix on home soil, who will feel they've let points slip this afternoon. They bossed close to 70% of the possession throughout, and dictated the pace and tempo of the game through the midfield of Longo, McCutcheon, and Whinham. Paul Temple's side were arguably slow to start, and failed to create many chances in the first stanza. Chasing the game, they created a number of big opportunities in the second though, and if not for the hands of James, Grace Jale should've seen both of her headers hit the back of the net. With two away games to come, they've made a stuttering start to the campaign, and are set to be tested heavily over the next few weeks. Next up is a trip to the Newcastle Jets next Sunday afternoon.
