The Wellington Phoenix have fallen to a one-goal defeat across the ditch on the Central Coast. Make sure you join us again next week for more A-Leagues action on Tribe. It's been a pleasure bringing you all the action from this one at Woy Woy Oval. For now, Harrison Ryburn signing out.
Next up for the Phoenix is another away game in seven days time, with the fourth-placed Brisbane Roar waiting at Perry Park. Meanwhile, the Mariners return to action on Saturday evening against F3 rivals Newcastle.
A tough evening for the Wellington Phoenix, who simply couldn't find a way to get firing on all cylinders. They were clunky throughout, and really lacked punch at the attacking end, particuarly when chasing the scoreboard in the final half hour. Again they pressed high up the pitch and attempted to take the game to their opponents. It did well to draw mistakes in stages, but too often there was a breakdown between the service and the target into the penalty box, and Olivia Fergusson struggled to get going up front. Wall and Elliott lacked quality down the flanks either, and Longo was left rather quiet through the middle of the park. Ultimately they'll be made to rue the two chances they missed just before the half-time break, and Paul Temple will be wondering what could have been had they scored at that stage of the match.
Fulltime in Woy Woy and the Wellington Phoenix continue their losing run against the Central Coast Mariners. It was one goal that decided it in the end, and a spectacular one at that. Tiana Fuller turned and found the back of the net from long range ten minutes after the break, scoring on her A-League starting debut, proving enough for the Mariners to claim all three points. It pushes the hosts up inside the top six, whilst the Phoenix drop down to sixth.

Eventually Langman launches the goal kick over halfway, and Evans picks up the ball on the right flank. She looks up and whips a delivery into the near post, looking for the head of Pennock. It almost finds the latter, but Jaber throws her head in front, to turn behind for a corner.
90+3'
Langman picks up a yellow card for time-wasting and delaying the goal kick.

Ingham makes a run down the left flank, and tries a delivery into the back post off her right foot. It doesn't quite fall for Main though, and Langman lets it bounce and run behind for a Mariners goal kick.
90+2'
Into four minutes of injury-time, as Longo is caught offside in-behind the Mariners defence. Play resumes with a free kick, and the hosts do well to earn a throw on halfway. It's launched long up the left flank, where McCutcheon intercepts, and Jaber hoofs long.
