That wraps things up from this one, but thanks for joining us. This is Ryan Nixon (@NewYorkNixon) signing off.
Auckland will finish the weekend two points clear at the top, although have played an extra game compared to nearest rivals Adelaide United. Both teams are next in action on Saturday, with Auckland hosting Macarthur, while Adelaide head north-east to face Sydney FC. The Wanderers meanwhile are off to Brisbane on Friday night, and will be wanting to make the most of their fixture against the bottom of the table Roar.
For the Wanderers, they battled hard to keep Auckland at bay, with Lawrence Thomas strong in goal, Anthony Pantazopoulos providing strong defence and adding to their attack, while there were bright moments from Nicolas Milanovic, Zach Sapsford and Bozhidar Kraev. They got a bit of impact off their bench, too, as James Temelkovski and Aydan Hammond sparked their attack, but couldn't find a winner.
As it was though, the masters of the late goal came through, with Neyder Moreno - who has now scored three goals beyond the 80 minute mark this season - breaking the deadlock through an assured late finish, breaking the hearts of the Wanderers and the RBB. In fairness, Auckland probably were the better side overall, with their press causing problems throughout, as the Wanderers turned the ball over far too cheaply time and again. Guillermo May was busy in attack, while Francis De Vries, Jesse Randall, Jake Brimmer and Louis Verstraete were others who stood out.
Incredible! Auckland FC snatch points at the death... yet again! They're becoming the master of the late goals, with this now their 6th goal after the 90th minute, and it's a win that takes them back to the top of the A-League table. Again it was Neyder Moreno off the bench proving the super sub, as he snatched the late winner, from a game which was bafflingly still goalless beyond the 90. Both teams had created a healthy number of good chances without taking their opportunities, as the keepers made some sharp saves, and the accuracy in the final third was lacking. Logan Rogerson and Marcus Antonsson probably missed the easiest of the chances, but both benches would have gone into stoppage time wondering just how they hadn't put themselves in front.

Western Sydney have time to try equalise, but they lose the ball and Francois heads for the hills...

THEY LOVE A LATE GOAL! Auckland mount a late attack, with the ball poked into the area by Howieson, towards the run of both Moreno and Francois. Pantazopoulos tried to slide in and take it away from them, but Moreno was able to control and then drill his shot from a tight angle. It beats Thomas, flicks the underside of the bar and finds the back of the net!

Pantazopoulos shoots from the free kick, but it's a weakly hit low effort and Paulsen saves with ease.
