That is all we have time for on Tribe as Melbourne City outclass Perth Glory for 90 minutes. I have been Elliot Thompson and thank you for joining me. Tune in with us on Tribe in a few hours for some live Premier League coverage.
Perth Glory are still not on the bottom of the table due to Brisbane Roar having zero wins. However, they do have a game in hand on Glory. The most worrying thing for David Zdrilic will be that his side has a minus-12 goal difference already. Next up for them is a home game against Western United. Melbourne City have moved up to second with that fantastic win with several academy graduates on the pitch. they are one point off the top spot. They host Western Syndnery Wanderes in a few weeks time.
Perth Glory looked like they knew from the off they were in for a battering which is a massive worry for their fans and manager David Zdrilic. He is still winless after four games as he had to watch on today to see his side get embarrassed once again. Their best chance came from Taggart who on the edge of the area tried to curl one into the top corner. He did come close but Beach in the City goal had basically nothing to do all game. It is worrying times for Glory who looked like they have not improved after their torrid season in the 23/24 campaign.
WHAT A WIN FOR MELBOURNE CITY! Aurelio Vidmar will be delighted that even amid an injury crisis his side have managed to batter Perth Glory. They dominated proceedings in the first half with Ugrakovic scoring a brace late on to give them some clear daylight. His first goal was a rocket on his right foot from the edge of the box. The second was a more scruffy but clinical strike in the box. It didn't take them long to get going in the second half as Kuen made Sail pay for a terrible clearance. Then in the last ten minutes, Cohen got involved as he cut inside from the right wing to fire home. Memeti put the icing on the cake as he scored on his first A-League start getting on the end of a cross from fellow academy teammate Rahmani.

SHOT! Talbot floats in a cross from the right side. Barr heads it away but he can only find Ugarkovic on the left of the area with his header. Ugarkovic fires it first-time at goal on the volley. He watches his shot fly just over the bar. So nearly his hat-trick!

Talbot plays the ball inside to Dunbar who holds off Gomulka. He wins a throw which Talbot comes forward to take. Talbot looks for Mehmeti but Barr is there to clear. It comes to Leckie who shows his pace to run beyond Carluccio. His cross is turned behind for a corner.

MEMETI HAS HIS FIRST-EVER A-LEAGUE GOAL! Dunbar on the left wing plays it forward to Rahmani in some space. He takes one touch and fires a low cross into the six-yard box. Memeti ghosts in unmarked at the back post. He opens his body up to side-foot the ball home for a tap-in. What a wonderful moment for the 17-year-old and the City academy!
