That is all we have time for as Perth Glory surprise Auckland FC with a massive home win. I have been Elliot Thompson and thank you for joining me. Stay with us on Tribe for live coverage of the FA Cup third round with Wolves and Liverpool in action right now against lower-level opposition.
Steve Corica won't really understand how his side hasn't at least snatched a point there. In the second half, he made several attacking changes as they heaped the pressure on Perth Glory. May had a big chance but was stopped by an onrushing Sail. Shortly after that, around the hour mark, May had another opportunity with a delicate header. Sail yet again made a massive save. Mata had a massive opening when he skied a shot over from close range after a Rogerson cross. The biggest chance though did come to May in the 90th moment. A long ball made its way through to May. He was one-on-one with Sail but lifted the shot over the goal. The cherry on top for Auckland was a red card for Coulibaly on his debut. It wasn't to be for Auckland today but that is now just one win in their last five games. Therefore they remain in third place, one point off Melbourne City in top spot. That is who they face next.
PERTH GLORY HAVE THEIR SECOND WIN OF THE SEASON! You can see how much that means as David Zdrillic embraces his coaching staff. That is their first win at home all season and ends a run of seven losses on the bounce on their home turf. It was Pearman who got the all-important goal in the first half. He thundered a shot into the top right corner from outside the box. That was after Carluccio thought he had scored in the first ten minutes but VAR ruled it out. In the second half, Glory did the majority of defending whilst also relying on Sail several times. It worked though as they are now on eight points, just two behind Newcastle Jets. Next up for the Glory is another home game against Western Sydney Wanderers. They'll be eager to keep up the feel-good factor after today's monumental win.

SAVE! O'Neil stands over the free-kick but he is the only one forward for Glory. He bends it over the wall towards the top right corner. Paulsen reads it well to parry the ball away. Auckland are desperate to get the ball forward now.

David Zdrillic wastes some seconds with another change. Pennington has gone off for Nathaniel Blair. Pennington does look like he cannot continue.

Ngo has a bit too say to Paulsen who comes charging out of his goal to confront him after that red card. Due to what he said Ngo has been shown a yellow card.

Anasmo from a Auckland corner sprints away with the ball. He shows his pace as he runs through on goal. Before he gets into the box Coulibaly trips him from behind to deny him of a goalscoring opportunity. Therefore his debut ends with a straight red card.
