An absorbing, and at times frantic game of football comes to an end, with players dropping to their haunches. In the sweltering Melbourne heat, both sides gave their all, in a topsy-turvy game which saw both lead at different stages. Goals either side of half-time saw Melbourne Victory come from a goal down to lead, but in a second half filled with controversy, it was a Kai Trewin penalty 20 times from time - his first goal in Melbourne City colours - which proved to be Victory's undoing. Both sides pushed for a winner, but none was forthcoming. Still, City's wait for three points on derby continues. And for both teams, it's a result which maintains their place in the top six of the A-League - although they will be rueing their inability to turn one point into three.
