That's all we've got time for on Tribe, I'm afraid. Until next time, this is James Messenger saying goodbye!
Honours even at AAMI Park, as Arthur Diles' time in charge of Melbourne Victory begins with a draw against their fiercest rivals. It was a truly absorbing watch, and a game which could've gone either way. Having trailed at the break, Victory grew more and more into the contest and found themselves back on level terms with 25 minutes to go, Roderick Miranda turning the ball home from close range after a mistake from the otherwise-flawless Patrick Beach in the Melbourne City goal. There were chances at both ends to win it - Victory substitute Nishan Velupillay hitting the outside of the post and Callum Talbot forcing Jack Duncan to be at his best - but in the end, both sides collect a point for their efforts heading into Christmas.
It ends level in the Melbourne derby!

The corner is swung towards the near post, but the clearing header is a good one. Anywhere will do for City!

GOOD CHANCE! So nearly for Fornaroli! The experienced frontman is very nearly the match-winner as a dangerous throughball is slid between the two Melbourne City centre-backs. He takes a touch round the goalkeeper but can't latch onto the end of it, with defenders back on the cover to hack it behind for a corner.

Machach turns well with the ball at his feet then tries to spread the play right for Santos, but Behich reads the danger and steps up from left-back to intercept.

More than a few nerves now as we head into added time. A clipped ball is sent towards the edge of the box for Santos to attack, but he bundles into Behich a little clumsily and concedes the foul.
