That wraps up our coverage of this A League Men's clash between Central Coast Mariners and Wellington Phoenix. Feel free to head over to coverage of Sydney FC vs Macarthur which is just about kicking off. But for now, thanks for joining me, Zak Brown on Tribe!
Next up for Wellington Phoenix is a home clash against Melbourne Victory, which is a repeat of last season's play-off semi final. As for Central Coast Mariners, they will travel to Newcastle Jets for the latest version of the F3 derby after the international break.
The result sees Wellington Phoenix climb up to third for the time being and although they could be surpassed by Sydney FC and Melbourne City later this evening, they will be delighted with another victory and clean sheet on the road. Meanwhile, Central Coast Mariners remain near the foot of the table in tenth position, dropping below Newcastle Jets due to today's three goal defeat.
The full-time whistle goes in Gosford and it's a comprehensive win for Wellington Phoenix! A stunning free kick from Hideki Ishige opened the scoring, before he turned provider for Kosta Barbarouses who doubled the lead before half-time. The game was practically put out sight inside the opening ten minutes of the second half, as Sam Sutton joined in on the act with a rare goal. Despite a number of Mariners shots on goal, Phoenix goalkeeper Josh Oluwayemi could have been tested much more, with many of the Mariners attempts coming from outside the penalty area. The game rather petered out towards the end and there is a lot of work for Mark Jackson and the Central Coast Mariners squad to do over the international break.
90+4'
Mikael Doka cuts inside past Alex Rufer, before striking the ball cleanly from just outside the Wellington penalty area. Josh Oluwayemi only has to stand his ground to make the save though, as that looks to be the final chance of the game...
90+3'
Lucas Mauragis gives the ball away inside Wellington territory with a loose forward pass. The Phoenix are content to clear their lines, with the ball sent all the way back to the Mariners' defensive line.
90+2'
Another shot comes from outside the penalty area for Central Coast Mariners and it's another relatively comfortable save for Josh Oluwayemi. Mikael Doka is the player to try his luck for the Mariners on this occasion.

Brian Kaltak almost plays his way into trouble, with Nathan Walker initially collecting the loose ball. But Walker is unable to muster up a shooting opportunity and the Mariners escape further punishment.
