One point is better than no points at all for Victory but they were certainly poor tonight. They never really looked like troubling the score sheet until that very last moment when Bos got clear and had one go in at the back post! Teague was busy through the middle and Piscopo was excellent in looking to create before he was subbed. They will need a much improved performance next weekend as they head home to take on the Central Coast.

That is going to be a tough one to take for Brisbane as it is now over a year since they have tasted victory at Suncorp Stadium. They looked destined to get the win before the latest of goals from Bos saw their hopes dashed. The strike in the first half from Hore was an absolute cracker but they will be mightly frustrated as they had ample chances to score another one. O'Shea was the best on show for the Roar. Jelacic and Hore were solid through the middle but the links up front were found wanting. They will take on Adelaide next weekend.

Melbourne win it back from the restart and surge forward again. They try to find a ball outside the area but Kasawaya clears! Into the midfield goes Halloran and he is tagged and wins the free kick.

CRUEL FOR BRISBANE! At the death! Melbourne find the back of the net! From the right side of the box, Melbourne look for the shot and it takes a deflection towards Bos running at the back post! Brisbane are asleep in the defensive line! Bos tries to control it and it ends up off the chest beating Acton at the near post and finding it's way into the net!

Back down the left go Victory! Zimarino makes a great run towards the edge of the box but he is offside. Melbourne send it deep down the middle. Fornaroli looks to latch onto a ball in traffic outside the area but it is Acton who comes outside his area and hacks it away in front of him.
