Adelaide will be disappointed with the overall result this evening. At home, against a weak opposition, but they can only muster a point. They dominated large patches of that game and looked to be hitting full stride early in the second half but some dicey defending at the back allowed Taggart a second and they couldn't find the net at the other end again. Clough, Folami and Mauk all had excellent games while Pierias and Kitto dominated down the flanks. They will take on Newcastle next weekend.

Perth will be happy to come away with the one competition point. It was always going to be a tough ask coming to Adelaide to win points. After taking the lead, they fell asleep early in the second half as the Reds rolled over the top of them. Their defence at the back is a real mess at times and something that will need to continue working on. Up front, the work of Ostler and Taggart is important and again that showed tonight with Taggart showing his class and netting a double. They will take on Mebourne Victory in another tough away match next weekend.

It was all action in the second half as finish in a draw in Adelaide! The Reds came out of the sheds firing with two quick goals through Clough and Vriends to take the lead! They looked to be all over Perth to start the second half but it was another quality strike from Taggart levelling things up in the 61st minute. That was how it stayed in the final half an hour as both teams share the points.

The Reds win a free kick on the right. They come forward with Pierias and Madanha again. Dropped back into the middle with Kikianis. Sends a ball in towards Goodwin at the top of the box! Tries to flick it on off the head but it is well away from the cage. Cook winds down the clock, sending the goal kick up the middle. There is a free kick for the Reds as there is a shove in the aerial challenge. Adelaide launch one last attack down the left with Folami but it is Yull bringing down a defender inside the box, giving away the free kick. Cook sends it down the middle and that will do us!

Yull stands over the free kick on the right. FREE HEADER AT THE BACK POST! Another mess in the box from Perth but it is Cook falling on a loose ball in front of him! There are calls for a hand ball but the whistle stays in the pocket much to the dismay of the crowd!

Madanha down the right finds Pierias back behind him! Back out for Kikianis. Sent back to the right with Pierias near the byline! Madanha tries to get around Hamzaoui who brings him down in the right corner! Free kick is the call! Lovely chance to whip one in here for the Reds.

Adelaide control a ball on halfway. They work it forward down the left and give away a throw in as the ball gets away from Yull looking to get to the outside of the defender. Perth throw it into the midfield and then hack it forward. Adelaide control it inside their half.

Carluccio is onto the park for Caicedo who isn't happy about being dragged. Yull stands over a corner on the left as Adelaide have a deflected ball away over the byline. Driven towards the near post and hacked clear by the Glory.
